Share a Coke

In 2014 Coca-Cola introduced the popular Share a Coke campaign.  People loved searching for that special name bottle in stores all over the globe.  It was a success in the market, and it surfaced a big opportunity for the brand. Consumers wanted to engage with the campaign but could not find their names in stores and turned to social media to ask for help.

Coke partnered with Fortyfour to create an online destination that was easy and fun to use.  Customers could customize bottles online and have them shipped directly to their door. I led the design team, that elevated the existing site with a modern look and feel creating an engaging experience that was intuitive to use.

Over 1 million bottles were sold in the first year and in the following year, the campaign grew to include the Diet Coke and Coke ZERO brands. Building on this success, we were asked to redesign the site to include not just customized bottles but all Coke branded items for sale.   The site evolved to become the official online destination for all coke branded merchandise.
