A rapidly growing regional cell carrier that was ready to win in the competitive telecommunications industry; Blue Grass Cellular needed to provide a seamless online retail experience to compete with national carriers. Their current site was non- intuitive and the shopping path was confusing to both current and potential customers.
The goal: Make it simple, make it flexible and create a memorable customer experience that communicated the community driven personality that defined Bluegrass Cellular.
I lead the design team that worked seamlessly with the UX team to create a simple, intuitive shopping experience online. Fonts, iconography and color choices were driven by the need to present information in easily consumable bites. Photography was selected to reflect the community driven personality of the company.
Developed to work seamlessly across desktop, tablet or mobile, this design theory informed all digital executions and campaigns.
The result: In the 4 months following the site re-launch, completed orders were up over 590% compared to the same period the previous year.
